The Luddite Lab team will be at Circuit Breakers! Circuit Breakers 2026 takes place this weekend (October 17-18) in New York City; it’s a gathering for all workers, organizers, and activists in the tech industry to come together and learn, build community, strategize, and recognize our collective power.

If you haven’t got your ticket yet, head on over to the website to grab ‘em.

Our team is organizing two events —

  1. Our session, Fighting AI at Work: Lessons from the Luddite Lab Resource Hub, will be on Sunday, October 18, from 4:45-5:45 PM. Our interactive session will feature lessons from the Luddite Lab Resource Hub, and you’ll hear from organizers who have won campaigns around AI. We'll engage in a workers’ inquiry exercise to strategize around your own resistance to AI and automation at work.

  2. We’ll be putting on a Happy Hour on Saturday, October 17, from 6:30-8:30 PM, co-hosted with Data & Society, TechEquity Collaborative, and Upturn at The Spot,  located at 206 Thompson St (between Bleecker St and Thompson St), New York, NY 10012 (Get Directions). The Spot is within walking distance of the Circuit Breakers conference site. We’ve reserved the outdoor space in front of The Spot, so you should see us when you arrive. We will provide small bites. Drinks are available for you to purchase from the cash bar. Please keep in mind that our space is limited to about 50 people.

We’re looking forward to seeing you!
