Happy June and Happy Pride! The trees are finally green again, it feels like it almost happened overnight?! Everything looks so different, we’re getting our second wind from all the new life all around us. We’ve been outside as much as possible, we hope you all have been too!

Happy May! It’s finally springtime!! Everything bloomed so quickly, and the ephemerals are already gone… Both of us want to be outside in the sun as much as possible (even though we’re feeling the allergies). We’re writing this in the cozy indoors while it rains pretty steadily over here. We didn’t end up spotting a migrating American Woodcock though… we’ll try again next year.

If you are new to our newsletter and haven’t seen Knapsack Magazine yet, Knapsack Mag is our serialized comics anthology series encapsulating our nostalgia for the late 90s and early 2000s comics, with a different theme for every volume. Our first volume, Cassette, was published last year, had over 20 artists, and was themed around music. For our second volume, we’re going for an even bigger book, with 28+ artists and more illustrations, articles, comics, and some cool extras like a tear out recipe card and foldout poster!!!
Happy April! We’re back again with our lil March roundup, talking about our silly lives and what we’ve been working on here at LPP. Lately the sun is so bright and warm, we’re so happy that it’s already spring. The trees are starting to bloom too and the spring ephemerals are out, it’s always so sweet to see!! Springtime makes us think of change and growth and it’s always nice to see it reflected in the environment around us as well as in our hearts! Our goal this year is to see a migrating American Woodcock! They are funny…
It seems like their proportions are incorrect. But we like them like this… They walk funny too. Look up a video!
