(A Very Late) November Check-in

I have no excuse other than: I locked in.

1000 Lotuses Part 2 - Seamstress out now!

“You’re not afraid of me?” Li Zanghong shook her head. She wasn’t afraid of anything. But Xia Chengyuan liked it when people were a little afraid of her, and she would not be satisfied until this foolish, innocent girl understood exactly who she was dealing with. “May I look closer?” Li Zanghong only smiled. “Open your mouth.” To Xia Chengyuan’s astonishment, she promptly obeyed. Xia Chengyuan then took Li Zanghong’s chin in her hand once more, and she kissed her. Li Zanghong remained still, hardly daring to even breathe. She let Xia Chengyuan’s tongue caress every part of her mouth it could reach. All I wanted was an idea of her powers and how she uses them—how did we end up like this? Once Xia Chengyuan felt that she learned all she needed to, she withdrew. Li Zanghong could have believed that several years had just passed. Li Zanghong's investigation brings her to the home of Xia Chengyuan, a gifted artificer and a rising star in a cutthroat field. To learn more about her target, Li Zanghong becomes a guest at her manor, and she inadvertently stumbles into Xia Chengyuan's secret world of bondage and decadence.

In this installment of 1000 Lotuses, a bodhisattva reckons with treacherous new desires and prepares to advise the god of yao in her campaign to assassinate eight genocidal gods. Click here to purchase/download.

Chengyuan is too powerful for itch.io indexing, so your reviews and shares are especially impactful :)

And by the way, fresh files for Part 1 are now up! Much more thoroughly cleaned up, as they should have been from the beginning, but thank you all for bearing with me.

East Bay Alternative Book and Zinefest!!!

December 13, David Brower Center, 2150 Allston Way, Berkeley @12-5 PM

LotusCarp will be tabling at EBABZ for the first time! Most of what I had for BAQZF will return, and we’re also featuring prose/poetry from my dear friend Yarrun for the first time! Here’s a zine based on one of their text-based games:

Click here to play Love and Death in the Shadow of the Demiurge.

That’s all for now. I had a couple of very bad flare-ups in the week leading up to the Part 2 launch, and I’m going to try to take it easy for a few days. I have to save my strength for zine folding :)
