The Return Of Pancake Day!
Good morning, parents and guardians- you heard that right! After a very long hiatus, the PAC, with the big help of the Student Council and sponsor teachers, are pleased to announce the return of Pancake Day. This event is being paid for by the PAC, so it’s free for all students.
The details:
Wednesday December 18
Kids will need to bring their own plates, mugs, and cutlery (it works best to have a bag for these items since they may get syrup on them)
There will be staggered seating throughout the morning in the Multipurpose room
Kids will still need a lunch for that day, but consider their snack covered!
There will be conventional pancakes and Vegan/Gluten-Free ones (all cooked on different griddles to reduce cross-contamination)
Hot chocolate and oranges will also be provided!
Speaking of griddles, we are in need of some table-top griddles to borrow for that day, as well as some large coffee/hot chocolate carafes (see below for photos of items that we could use).
Do you have the perfect maple syrup pouring technique? Or are you a mean hand on the griddle? If you have time on that morning, even for one shift, please consider volunteering. We CANNOT run this without your help!
