Hello Nelson families,

We have our AGM tonight! Come join the conversation about what we’ll focus on next year. We’ll also talk about outdoor education, adding shade / rain cover to the school grounds, activities and events that we hope to run, and how we will financially support teachers next year.

I want to point out that our PAC has developed a stronger position than most local PACs in a variety of ways. We have great fundraising support (thanks!), a garden club that’s at the leading edge for our city (other PACs pay outside companies to do what they do), and a variety of unique social- and educational- activities that enrich our children’s lives. We have many parents who are generous with their time who make this possible, but as kids move up to high school we need more parents to get involved to keep this going. One way to get a glimpse of what we’re doing, and how you can get involved, is to join us at a PAC meeting.
