Grass Field Survey
Hello Nelson Families,
Due to the continued interest by various community members in discussing this topic, we’re sending out this survey to gather community sentiment on the subject. You opinions are appreciated.

Background:
While the Nelson grass field remains open to students during school and for school activities, the VSB has restricted public access to the Nelson grass field outside of these times. This was decided following problems with damage to the fields by dogs, dog owners not cleaning up after their dogs, and unleashed dogs knocking over children (including during school hours). The field remains in use by students during school hours and for school organized activities.
What do you think the VSB should do regarding the grass field
How do you feel about making the grass field accessible to the public in July and August as a trial period to assess the community's ability to respectfully manage their impact on the space?
Do you think that the VSB should involve our community in decisions regarding community access to VSB facilities?
