Executive Positions Opening
Good morning Nelson families!
Our AGM is next week on Thursday June 12 where we’ll be electing our executive for the upcoming year. Here are some positions that are opening up and we need to fill:
DPAC Representative:
Act as a liaison between the Nelson PAC and the Vancouver District Parents’ Advisory Council by attending DPAC meetings (online and easy to attend!)
Bring forward issues that may be common to more than one school
Contribute to discussions and decisions
Secretary
Responsible for maintaining the administration of the PAC’s business
Prepares minutes during a meeting, including action plans, and distribute to families
Contribute to discussions and decisions
Vice Chair
Be on the ready in case one or both of the co-chairs is unable to attend a meeting
Overseeing events and/or managing volunteers
Contribute to discussions and decisions
Treasurer
We are so lucky to have a parent willing to take on this role!
BUT they are only able to volunteer for one year and ideally we’d love help from the same person for 3 consecutive years
