Correction: Spring Fair Coordinators
Good afternoon Nelson families!
We noticed a couple omissions in our previous email, so please read below:
The Nelson Spring Fair is coming up on Friday, June 20, 3-7pm!
Our Spring Fair lead, Dillon Adams, has enthusiastically taken on the task of leading the Spring Fair once again this year. He has some great ideas, and super fun activities booked, but he also needs some help - it’s much too big of a task for just one person.
Specifically, Dillon is hoping to find 6-8 people willing to help with the following:
1) Food Purchasers and Concession Lead
We need at least 2 (ideally 3) to do the Costco run (it’s too much for 1 person)
We also need someone to help organize the concession and ensure that it’s running smoothly
2) Sound Stage Manager
Assist with the logistics of the stage acts and sound equipment.
Ideally someone who can pick up the sound gear, knows how to set it up and is willing to assist with the transition of acts (we will have a school band play, followed by a DJ)
3) Volunteer Coordinators
This would ideally be 2 people:
one to manage the scheduling of shifts and ensuring each activity has someone supervising,
and one as a go-to on the event day
