Hello Nelson Parents,

I am emailing you with a desperate plea. 

The June 19th Spring Fair is fast approaching and we have an unprecedented number of vacant volunteer spots. 

At this point we may need to cancel the event, or at least several activities if we don't get any more volunteers. 

Specific areas of need are:

• Supervision of Games/Activities 

  • Thank you to the 10 folks who signed-up since Friday!

• Concession

  • The busiest time slot is 3-5pm, but we also need more help in the 5-7

• Face Painting

  • Thank you to the 2-3 people who have signed-up since Friday

• Craft Table Lead

  • This table is always fun! We just need a couple folks willing to buy materials for the crafts and set it up

This is a meaningful event for kids, a chance to celebrate the end of the school year and a way to foster community within the school and the neighbourhood.

We hope it can continue for years to come, but without volunteer support, it simply cannot.
