(This is being sent to you as a member of a mailing list I distribute to select PR and industry sources. Unsubscribe details at the bottom.)
Dear Subscriber, hi, I've got a few stories on the go, which I thought you might possibly be able to help with over the next couple of weeks. Do let me know if you think you can help (if you already are, please ignore.)
- open innovation: how companies and industries are learning from each other. I'm looking at how F1 innovation in data analytics and modelling is impacting companies and industries away from automotive. I'm interested in insight on this phenomenon, either with respect to F1 or more broadly. I'm also looking for cool examples of this.
- middle class startups: I'm exploring how startups in emerging Asia (Southeast Asia and India, primarily) are finding traction and critical mass by launching in more than one country, providing services to the newly emerging middle class in these countries, whose tastes and aspirations overlap more than they did previously. I'm interested in insight, data and examples of this trend (and counterarguments and examples, if you take that view.)
- bottom half smartphones: in a year or two half of all smartphones sold will cost less than $150. What are manufacturers doing to build market share in this group, and what will the landscape look like? Is it just about good enough, or will these devices have to be good, and connect to services and apps like their more expensive brethren? I'd welcome insights, data, examples and thoughts.
Hoping to move on these stories in the next few days; if you've got anything you think you can contribute drop me a line. No need to respond if you don't.
Best, Jeremy
