I'm researching the mobile operating system landscape and posing the question: how are the alternatives to iOS and Android faring, including Tizen, Firefox, Tailfish, and including Windows and OS10,  and what is likely to happen next? If you have anyone -- a client, colleague or whatever -- who might be able to help on this story, I'd be interested in hearing. 

 

No need to write a detailed reply, if you do have something, just a note explaining what you have in mind. I'm particularly interested in perspectives from the mobile ecosystem -- carriers, OEMs, app developers etc -- but others are welcome. 

 

Hoping to do the story in the next week, so if possible to get back to me with an idea of how you might be able to help in the next day or so would be very welcome.
