[reuters query] WebRTC, IoT, SoCs, JP
Dear Subscriber, this is one of those periodic requests for help on the off-chance you, your client or someone in your world might be well placed to help. If not, no need to reply — and unsubscribe details at the bottom should you wish to be off this limited list.
I’m in the market for any thing on the following:
- WebRTC: the protocol for video, voice and messaging. I’m taking a look at it. Interested in any angle that helps me understand it better and tell a good yarn about it.
- SoCs, standards and the IoT: hoping to explore whether standards, patents and alliances are really the way to go for the Internet of Things, and that maybe existing technologies like WiFi might be good enough.
- Japan hardware: Are Japanese hardware startups the road to recovery for the country’s moribund tech sector?
Happy to hear from anyone with thoughts or tips on any of these. But no need to reply if they’re off your radar.
Thanks
Jeremy
