Our next drawing session is tomorrow (September 23rd) at the Saturday Market. We will meet up by the bird sculptures at Monroe and First Street to decide how to organize ourselves. People are welcome to do their own thing and meet up later. Or some, or all of us, can draw together.

The Saturday Market is a good place to practice drawing people and capturing their motion. As people are not going to pose for you it is a good opportunity to use the beginner techniques from last week’s post. Blind contour is a particularly useful technique for drawing people, especially when you have a very short time to capture someone.
