Recently I have not been drawing as much as I would like. I am producing a polished piece about once a month, but I have been realizing that this is not completely meeting my creative wants. To scratch my creative inch I have been reminding myself to fit in some sketch snapshots. These are quick (5-10 minute) drawings in a small sketchbook. This a great format to try out new techniques and mediums in and to explore new views or perspectives you might want to come back to later. These snapshot drawings are also an awesome way to fit some drawing and creativity into your day if your schedule is already packed.
