On Tuesday 14th May at 2pm, members of the Hybrid Local History Group will welcome Tristram Sutton, a long-term Camberwell resident and researcher, to Southwark Pensioners’ Centre when he will give us a presentation on “Dr Lettsom’s Cottages”. Tristram will be coming in person.

Many of you will know that Dr John Coakley Lettsom (1744-1815) was a well-known physician and philanthropist who owned a large house and estate in the area now known as Grove Park at the top of Camberwell Grove.
