Dear Members, We will resume the Hybrid Local History Group next Tuesday 14th January at 2pm when Lisa Soverall, Heritage Officer, Southwark Archives, will give a much anticipated presentation on “Jones and Higgins of Peckham” at Southwark Pensioners’ Centre. I will circulate the link over the weekend for those who would like to join us on Zoom. Subsequent meetings on alternate Tuesdays at 2pm are listed below. Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday. 25th February “200 years of Dulwich Radicalism” Duncan Bowie, Dulwich resident and member of Dulwich Local History Society
11th March “Finding Fitzrovia” – A Guided Walk Jill Finch, Guide in City of London, St Paul’s Cathedral and the Guildhall Art Gallery We will leave Southwark Pensioners’ Centre at 1.30pm and meet Jill at Warren Street tube station for a 2.30pm start. Charge £10 per person to be paid on the day.

8th April Screening of the film “Passport to Pimlico” - 1949 Comedy from Ealing Studios starring Stanley Holloway and Margaret Rutherford. Great views of London Docklands.
