Reminder: Guided walk in Abney Park Cemetery on Tuesday 15th October at 1.30pm at 1.30pm

Southwark Pensioners' Centre Local History Group

Dear Local History Group Members,

On Tuesday 15th October, John Turpin, Author of “The Magnificent Seven”, will guide us on a walk in Abney Park Cemetery, Stoke Newington N16 0LH where we will see the graves of William and Catherine Booth, Founders of the Salvation Army, amongst many others.

We will leave Southwark Pensioners’ Centre at 1.30pm sharp and will travel by bus and the underground. If you are thinking of going direct to Stoke Newington, please make sure you are at the Main Entrance of Abney Park Cemetery, off Bouverie Road, by 2.30pm.

Looking forward to seeing whoever can make it on Tuesday.
