Reminder: Guided walk for Local History Group on Tuesday 9th July at 1.30pm for 2.30pm at Russell Square Station

Southwark Pensioners' Centre Local History Group

Dear Members,

On Tuesday 9th July, our friend Jill Finch, Guide in City of London, St Paul’s Cathedral and the Guildhall Art Gallery, will guide members of the Local History Group on her walk “Books and Bohemians in Bloomsbury”. If you are coming on the walk, we will leave the Pensioners’Centre promptly at 1.30pm and will travel by bus to Russell Square Station where we will meet Jill by 2.30pm. If you are thinking of going direct, please make sure you are outside Russell Square Station by 2.20pm.

There is a fee of £10 per person for the walk which I will collect when I meet you. Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday and to the walk with Jill. You may remember that she took us on the virtual walk in March and it whetted our appetite to walk the route in person. Umbrellas are recommended!
