Reminder: A guided walk with the Local History Group on Tuesday 11th June 1.30pm at Denmark Hill Station

Southwark Pensioners' Centre Local History Group

Dear Members,

On Tuesday 11th June members of the Southwark Pensioners’ Centre Local History Group, who are joining us on the walk, will meet at Denmark Hill Station at 1.30pm. We will then travel by Overground to Canonbury Station where we will meet Anne Tickell, Walk Leader for Friends of City Churches, by 2.30pm. She will guide us on a walk “Why Canonbury in Islington?” which will end up in Canonbury Square not far from Highbury and Islington Station. If you are thinking of going direct to Canonbury, please make sure you are there by 2.20pm.

There is a fee of £10 per person for the walk which I will collect when I meet you. Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday and to the walk with Anne Tickell.
