Dear Members, Here is our Autumn 2025 programme starting with a guided walk on Tuesday 23rd September. All meetings are at 2pm on Tuesdays at the Pensioners’ Centre unless it says otherwise. I look forward to meeting up again, Sally
23rd September “Lambeth Luminaries” Part 2– a Guided Walk
Keith Turpin, Camden Tour Guide Association Guide and Walk Leader. (We will leave Southwark Pensioners’ Centre at 1.45pm and meet Keith in front of the Imperial War Museum (by the guns) at 2.30pm.)
7th October “The Old Cow in the Kitchen- Memories of the Elephant” -Screening of film followed by sharing our own memories. Linda Waterhouse, Author and Educator
21st October “Atomic Albion: Journeys around Britain’s Nuclear Power Stations”

4th November Southwark’s Collection of Shoes
Judy Aitken, Curator, Southwark Libraries and Heritage Team.(We will meet with Judy at her new base in Peckham Library, SE15 5EB. We will leave the Pensioners’ Centre at 2pm to arrive at Peckham Library for 2.30pm.)
18th November “Tales of Old Ford - Bow”: Secret Histories come alive.
