Local History Group on Tuesday 26th March at 2pm - visit to Walworth Heritage Centre and Library

Southwark Pensioners' Centre Local History Group

Dear All,

Members of the Local History Group will leave Southwark Pensioners' Centre at 2pm on Tuesday 26th March to take the bus to Southwark Heritage Centre and Walworth Library where we will meet Judy Aitken, Curator of Southwark Libraries and Heritage Team. She will introduce us to the exhibition:

"Modern Trades and Industries" which she has curated.

Alternatively, meet the group at the Heritage Centre and Library at 2.25pm.

This is our last session before Easter. The Local History Group will resume at Southwark Pensioners' Centre at 2pm on Tuesday 30th April when Chris Constable, Borough Archaeologist, will give us an update on exciting developments in Southwark's Archaeological finds.
