The final countdown

One week left to preorder APOCALYPSE!

I’m thrilled to share that APOCALYPSE: How Catastrophe Transformed Our World and Can Forge New Futures has been selected as a Most Anticipated Spring Book by The Millions!

APOCALYPSE is also a May Must-Read for the Next Big Idea Book Club. This means I’ll soon be sharing a podcast and more about the book and its most important insights. Stay tuned and don’t forget to preorder!

Preorder APOCALYPSE

I’m at the Society for American Archaeology conference this week, making my triumphant return to in-person reporting and reveling in the joy of once again being among my people: Huge nerds who painstakingly build past worlds in their imaginations for a living. APOCALYPSE is also getting a warm reception from the people who could soon make by dreams come true by assigning it to every Anthro 101 student in the United States.

I’ll have more for you soon, including some fascinating stories from the conference, and next week, a very special sneak peek of APOCALYPSE you won’t get anywhere else. But for now, an almost-last nudge to preorder and a reminder about my upcoming book events!
