A quick hello
Hello! I’m back, just for a minute. My Forever Quarantine™ life is going well, and I’ve reached a point in my Very Big Project where I need to keep going with all the focus I can muster. So I’ll be continuing this newsletter break for a little while longer.
But before I go: Black Lives Matter. I’ve set up a recurring donation here, which directs contributions to bail funds, mutual aid funds, and racial justice organizations in many US cities. As someone who doesn’t live in the US I was honestly overwhelmed by figuring out where to send my money, so this helped a lot! Thank you to the freelancer community Study Hall for letting me know about this option.
If you are able to protest, keep it up. Wear a mask. Defund the police, abolish prisons, and also don’t forget to dismantle a foreign policy apparatus that exports militarized, colonial violence around the world. It’s all one thing, and it has got to go.
