Little Thoughts About ... Issue #26
February Wrap-Up

Nettle & Bone by T. Kingfisher
I wasn’t sure what I expected, but I really enjoyed this book. I was there with the characters on this journey. I enjoyed the darkness mixed with the humor. It was a quick read, and I wanted more. I will be reading more by this author!
A Bluestockings Guide to Decadence by Jess Everlee
I have been meaning to read this since it came out; having met Jo, I wanted her story so bad! I hated seeing David so stressed, but I like how Jess doesn’t shy away from the tension of the times and shows how all the characters are dealing with the real concerns while also giving us a wonderful romance story.
Lost and Lassoed by Lyla Sage
I’m so hooked on this series, and I’ve been ready for Gus and Teddy’s story since they first butted heads in book one! While this book had a lot of tropes in it, it just flowed so nicely and didn’t feel forced, which can sometimes happen when you’ve got a lot of tropes like single dad, forced proximity, enemies to lovers, and sibling’s friend or friend’s sibling. Can’t wait to read book 4!

February’s Key Word: Dream
Follow Your Dreams by Kat Ryan
I downloaded this book as part of a Stuff Your Kindle event as it was about a librarian. It’s a few books into a series, but I didn’t feel like I was missing out, but I also wasn’t drawn in enough to read the rest of the series. The MCs had an instant connection, talk about taking it slow, but within a week they are moving in together.

-Already on your bookshelf (or TBR List): The Doctor’s Discretion by E.E. Ottoman
This one has been on my TBR list for a while, so it was perfect for this challenge prompt. Sadly, it wasn’t a good read for me. I had added the book after reading someone else's review, and the plot sounded interesting, but the actual story didn’t hold my attention, but with such a short story, I made myself finish it.
