Within the Cottage
At the threshold's edge, a small lantern is lit, carried by a little black watch

And from this vantage point, from the humble cottage standing at the edge of the world, from within the beacon itself—the light is kept aflame for all the weary, steadfast voyagers of this life.
The light can be seen from sea and land.
And its presence reminds us of our own inner flame.
Within the cottage, a small candle burns.
This writing is guided from that light as well.
And a little Scottie dog saunters in, through the pathway leading into the cottage, fur lightly misted with saltwater, traversing the threshold between worlds.
He holds a small lantern.
