At The Cliff

At the threshold's edge, a small lantern is lit, carried by a little black watch

There is a place, at the edge of a magnificent cliff,

where the water meets the shore,

and the rugged rocks tumble into the sea.

This is where we begin.

This is where the lightkeeper stands.

And depending on where you stand, your vision might be different.

But we all can see the light of the beacon.

Shining steady.

Holding firm.

Still visible through distance, fog, rock and sea.
