Links by Friday 009 - All Art is a copy

Intro

This is the 10th issue of LBF.

Links by Friday is not my first attempt at a Newsletter, previously I authored Hyperlink Weekly on the now defunct Revue. It felt great but I burnt out, and Revue shutting down was the perfect excuse to stop.

I will talk more about my motivations for LBF in future issues.

How Mastodon Made Friends with Meta

All art is a copy of something.

At bedtime, I told my daughter how much I enjoy making art with her. She said, “me too, Daddy.” And then she asked an interesting question: Is it art if it wasn’t your idea? I was glad to answer “yes,” and explain to her why — that all art is a copy of something
