This week in AI grump corner I've been reading (without surprise) how Learning with AI falls short compared to old-fashioned web search.

As a data nerd of a certain age I found this long read on how we got VisiCalc (the first modern spreadsheet) very nostalgic.

Well designed experiment and statistical analysis tells us that the half life of a teaspoon is 81 days. Longitudinal cohort study of the displacement of teaspoons in an Australian research institute.
