First this

This is a list I compile on a weekly[1] basis and email to subscribers. I also share the link on Mastodon, Bluesky and LinkedIn.

It's a list of data vacancies in nonprofit organisations that have caught my eye. I don't endorse any of the organisations or roles.

Salaries are usually FTE and usually include London weighting if applicable. This list is very UK focused and even for remote jobs you are likely to need the right to work in the UK.

Now this

I enjoyed Mia Ridge's post on Open cultural data - an open GLAM perspective at the British Library. If this sort of thing interests you, you might want to sign up for Hacathon Hanes at the National Library of Wales.

I'd never thought about putting data centres into place but Domenico Vicinanza says it's a brilliant idea, but a herculean challenge.

The data-folks Mastodon server has been taken down and so I have reverted to my old Mastodon account@likeaword@toot.wales
