Liberation - New Year update
Hi everyone and thank you for your continuing interest in Liberation, the next generation of laser show software!
We had an incredibly busy Christmas getting our new show together for Newcastle's New Year celebrations. We made a 15 minute long show set to original music and around 30,000 people came to watch the spectacle. Using the incredible Baltic art gallery as our backdrop, we projected 3D graphics using Liberation's powerful new canvas features.
The full facade was mapped using 10 separate lasers to create the complex real time particle effects and animations.
Liberation Day in London
Our very first community meet up day is this Friday in London. It's free to patrons and is a full day of training and demos, and the chance to try Liberation with a full complement of lasers all set up and ready to go. Tickets are sold-out but if you are a patron you can join the waitlist.
FloLux project at Spectra
Flora Litchfield (FloLux) is exhibiting her gorgeous project Lightstream in Aberdeen at Spectra using 8 x 32W lasers (tonight is the last night!). Flora is one of the earliest adopters of Liberation and her show has been running flawlessly night after night throughout the festival. If you're nearby you must go and visit!
