On getting paid

Sometimes, clients pay late. Sometimes, we're a little shy about how to approach them. We shouldn't be.

I'm sure I'm not the first person to remind you that you deserve to get paid for your work. In fact, I myself have encouraged you to talk rates directly and without apologizing. And you also deserve to get paid on time.
