New: Prompt Library grows! (now 120+ across all topics)
Hey! Nathan here, founder of Lex (https://lex.page), the modern writing platform with AI editing tools built in.
A few updates for you this week:
1. Prompt Library is growing up
Remember our Prompt Library? Where you can find expert-written prompts to help with many different kinds of specific writing tasks?
It’s gotten so big now! Check it out:
We now have over 120 prompts submitted by 50+ creators on all topics: marketing, creative writing, legal, self-help, you name it.
Soon, we'll start experimenting with ways to automatically suggest the right prompt to the right person at the right time, using an algorithm we're building.
Should make finding the right prompt easier!
Also, if you’re interested in creating prompts, depending on how the next few weeks goes we’ll likely open up another batch soon. If you’d like more info check it out here: https://lex.page/read/3c1d9a42-d47a-40f1-b440-bd3fc6b5c827
2. An integration with Kit (formerly ConvertKit)
This was an unexpected but fun thing. Last week Nathan Barry, founder/CEO of Kit, reached out to me and asked if I’d be interested in creating an integration that allowed people to connect Kit and Lex so we could train on their newsletters to make AI write in a way that sounds like them.
I asked when it should be ready by and he said “Oct 1.” Lol. Lmao. Why not?
So we worked furiously last week and over the weekend to get this ready, and the result is so much better than we ever thought it could be. We actually figured out something that we believe is a new technique and we love how it makes AI writing sound.
To learn more, watch this short explainer:
If you want to try it out, click here to connect Kit and Lex: https://lex.page/auth/kit
(Warning, if you don’t have a Kit newsletter already you’ll have to create one, and you might want to do so and upload ~10 your previous newsletters there before you connect Kit and Lex so we have enough data to train on.)
Not on Kit? No worries. Needless to say, we’re excited enough about this new technique that it will not be a Kit exclusive for long!
3. File uploads in Ask Lex for everyone
Last week we rolled out file uploads to Pro users as a beta. It went well, so now it's available to all users!
Quick heads up though — if you're not on a pro plan and you upload a large file, it can eat up your tokens in the AI's context window really fast. So use with caution! (Or just upgrade to Lex Pro for unlimited use, more on that below.)
That's it for this week. As always, let us know if you have any questions or thoughts.
Thanks for using Lex!

Unlimited checks — Our powerful AI editing tool suggests changes in your document for grammar, brevity, clarity, or anything else you want. Free users are limited to 30 check runs per month, Pro users get unlimited check runs.
