New in Lex: the redesign is available to all!
Hey! Nathan here.
(You’re getting this email because you signed up for Lex, the collaborative word processor with AI editing tools.)
Our goal is to build the ultimate writing tool. We aren’t there yet, but each week we get a bit closer.
Last week, in particular, was big step forward. I sent an email announcing our editor redesign (and our new document context feature) for Lex Pro subscribers.
Today, I’m excited to share that our new editor design is now available to everyone! I hope you find it aesthetically pleasing and worthy of your words :)
To start using the new design, go to https://lex.page, open any document, click settings, and click the button in the big blue box at the top.
Soon we’ll start gradually rolling out the new design as the new default as we make sure it works perfectly for everyone.
Oh, and before I go, one last reminder…
Tomorrow is the last day for early adopter pricing!
If you want access to Lex Pro (which helps you improve your writing through premium AI models, unlimited checks, document context, etc) now is a good time to get in, as our special early adopter pricing is ending at the end of the day on May 1st.
Today Lex Pro costs $15/month or $100/year. Or, as the cool kids say, “$8.33/month billed annually” 🥲.
After May 1st, the price is going up to $18/month or $145/year (which comes out to $12.08 per month). Still cheaper than ChatGPT! But a bit less cheap than it is today.
To subscribe, go to https://lex.page, open any document, and click the “Upgrade” button in the header.
I wrote a document here about what you get when you subscribe, but here’s a quick summary:
Unlimited access to Claude 3 Opus, GPT-4, and other premium AI models. The increase in quality—especially with Claude 3 Opus—is extremely worth it. If you’re unsure, just ask and we’ll show you a trial run.
Unlimited Checks—our AI editing feature that can suggest changes to optimize for brevity, readability, grammar, and more. Plus our new Audience check, which tailors your writing for your intended audience.
Our new Document Context feature, which allows you to give custom instructions to the AI about what you’re writing, who your audience is, and what your goal is.
Priority support via our private Discord channel, and early access to new features (like our iOS app).
If you have any questions or concerns, just hit reply! I’d love to help any way I can.
Our goal is to build the ultimate writing tool, but we’re just getting started. Your input is everything. We love it when you hold us to a high standard!
