Two things
Hey!
Two things.
1. Yesterdays on Product Hunt
First, Yesterdays launched on Product Hunt today. I'd sincerely appreciate you giving it an upvote if you're enjoying using it. Since I last emailed you I've added a few new nifty features:
- Import memories via CSV. I was able to get 200+ old memories from Notion and Evernote into Yesterdays 😱. That made the randomized "Nostalgia Trip" feature and Widget all that more useful, surfacing fun old memories I had forgotten about.
- Add associated dates to tags. For instance, you can easily see someone's age when a memory took place.
- Writing reminders. Simple to start, but the app will prompt you to write a memory every so often.
Upvoting on Product Hunt or leaving a rating/review on the App Store would be much appreciated!
2. Next Project
Second, I wanted to give you a sneak peek at my next project: an opinionated to-do app.
Most to-do apps pride themselves on being flexible, so you can tailor it to your desires. The problem there is you risk procrastinating via tinkering with the system (believe me, I've been there as I try to get Notion, Airtable, Todoist, or even Remember the Milk optimized exactly the way I want).
I want to build something that gets out of the way so you can hit the ground running with a simple, proven system.
I don't have a name for it yet, but it'll combine all the little techniques I've learned over the years to keep me sane and productive. All the way from being a solo creative knowledge worker to a manager or executive.
Here's a screenshot of the prototype so far:
I'm excited for this one. Stay tuned.
