We have two all-new events this winter across three dates, including Level Eater’s first foray into the Forgotten Realms. Vital info for you is here, in this letter. Check out leveleater.com anytime for more information.

Each of these events is a great time to venture into our adventures for the first time, as we deploy the newly revised 2024 game rules for the 5th edition of Dungeons & Dragons.
The Level Eater 15 Event Dates
Level Eater 15 happens twice this time! This helps us accommodate more players and more scheduling options. Join us on either date to play the same adventure to benefit the Public Media Institute (PMI) in Chicago. These events happen at the Co-Prosperity Sphere, 3219 South Morgan, Chicago, IL 60608.
This adventure explores a new world — the Dinosaur Kingdom — teeming with ancient ruins, enigmatic magic, and strange creatures to battle or befriend. Both dates combine to build up new features in the wandering city of Portsbridge before it teleports once again.
We’ll have raffle prizes, VIP table options, rare merch, and terrific quests to undertake on both Saturday and Sunday!
Saturday Afternoon and Evening, January 25th
Our popular Demo Expo returns on the afternoon of Saturday, January 25th, from 12pm until 5pm! The Co-Prosperity Sphere is open to the public during the Demo Expo. We offer table space to invited local designers, artists, and gamers to show off beloved games and works in progress. Stay tuned for information on applying for one of these tables — they’re FREE but by invitation only.
We reopen for the Level Eater 15 adventure at 6pm. We start playing the adventure at 7pm sharp. Closing ceremonies occur around 11:15pm. You need a ticket to play the Level Eater event!
Sunday Afternoon, January 26th
If playing into the night on Saturday doesn’t work for you, we’re also running the Level Eater 15 adventure in the Dinosaur Kingdom on Sunday, January 26th. Doors open at 12pm and we play the adventure at 1pm with closing ceremonies to follow at about 5:15pm.
Tickets for both dates go on sale this week! We’ll send you a short notice just before tickets are ready, and before we announce them on social media.
Thunder Over the Forsaken Isle
When Dungeons & Dragons play debuts at MagicCon in Chicago, we’ll be there! On Saturday, February 22nd, 2025, we’re hosting a grand epic in the Level Eater style, set in the beloved game world of the Forgotten Realms.
Join us there for our biggest adventure event ever. More than 30 tables, all working together, explore a weird, magical island and rescue castaways off the edge of the Sword Coast. Will we defeat the dire menace underlying this forsaken isle? That’s up to you, if you play!
Tickets for this stand-alone event go on sale the morning of December 9th, 2024! Use this link to find tickets. Only registered ticket-holders can play!
Every participant gets a choice of characters to play, plus our handsome new Heroic Inspiration card, a full-color map and quest menu, and a secret little keepsake that we cannot spoil here yet.
This stand-alone adventure is a great opportunity to meet lots of D&D players and DMs from Chicago and afar, all gathered at McCormick Place for the thrills of MagicCon!
Toward Adventure
Following on the results of the poll in the last letter, we are designing and refining a new hoodie for Level Eater 15! As the design solidifies, we’ll share images and a preorder link for the new garment. Limited quantities and sizes may also be available at Level Eater 15, in addition to plushies, scarves, and our beautiful boxed set.
With that, we return to mustering our mighty allies.
