Shop update
Hello!
It’s July. Where I am, that means the monarchs are in full swing, with chubby striped caterpillars mowing through milkweed before turning into little green dangling jewels for a time, then finally emerging in classic orange and black and flying away. The smaller tomatoes are ripe, while the larger ones are just starting to hint at the colors they’re planning. July also means that I wish I was a lot further along with prep for my next show. The show is in November, which felt like a long ways away until just now.
But in the meantime, I’ve got a few pieces coming to the shop on Thursday at noon Pacific. I threw some vessels in my favorite black clay, which I think looks very dramatic when paired with bone white porcelain details.
There’s a Guardian planter, with beetle:
A small sake set:
A tide pool jar:
And finally, a small bowl with four little frogs:
And one lone fossil mug, this time an ichthyosaur:
I should have more mugs, planters, and maybe some tiny boxes within a couple weeks. And some works-in-progress for the November show will be coming all summer as I try to get on track!
Thanks!
