# Speculid v3.0.0 Alpha Available For Big Sur **Brand New GUI ready for Big Sur**
[The best app for managing app icons and image sets](https://Speculid.com) is getting better with a brand new GUI for Big Sur. Want to give it a shot?

[Download Speculid](mailto:leo@speculid.com?subject=I%20want%20to%20try%20Speculid%20v3%20for%20Big%20Sur!&body=Where%20can%20I%20download%20it%3F)
## A few things to note: - This version **requires Big Sur** so you must have the beta installed (at least beta 3) - The **first version can only open existing Speculid files** (i.e. json files), therefore you'll need to **create the .speculid json files** in a text editor [using the format specified on the home page.](https://speculid.com) - The goal is for this app to end up in the Mac App Store, therefore it requires permission to open and save files (i.e. *sandboxing*). **This means when you open a file you may see a 🔒lock icon by the file and you need to specify the file again in order to give Speculid access to save and open those files.** - Speculid builds the graphic files quickly*... very quickly. *So once you click *build ***you may not notice they done** unless you go to .appicon or .imageset directories. Let me know if you are interested and I will send you a download link.
Thanks for your support,
Leo
