Issue #75
Hello everyone,
Before I head out to Deep Dish Swift and Swift Heroes, I wanted to let you know about our latest article on Mobile Design Systems.
I was inspired to write about this after recently chatting with Tjeerd in 't Veen on the EmpowerApps podcast. Tjeerd is a fellow Swift developer and the author of Swift in Depth and an upcoming book called Mobile System Design. Tjeerd generously gave me a peak at the book, and I think we should all be excited.
Mobile system design is about creating a set of guidelines for considering all the specifications for a mobile application. This includes the development and design for both the app’s front and backend elements.
There are 4 key points to this:
- Asking the right questions
- Syncing with your backend teams
- Diagrams for Communication
- Demos for Confirmation
If you are want to maintain long term apps, you’ll want to check this article out.
