Issue #109

Hello everyone,

WWDC 2025 is just around the corner, and I'm excited to share that I'll be attending in person for the second time! Plus, there's a much-anticipated Bushel update coming your way, an intriguing Xcode alternative for Linux users, and some notable industry news you should know about.

Looking Forward to WWDC 2025! 🎉

I'm counting down the days until WWDC, and I'm particularly interested in seeing what Apple has in store this year. If you're also attending, [I'd love to connect and share thoughts! Let’s meetup in person and discuss how things are going for you.](https://zcal.co/i/kVBMntO7)

What I'm especially looking forward to:

    - The future of Vision Pro and what's next for spatial computing - Apple Intelligence developments and how they'll impact app development - App Store changes that could affect how we distribute and monetize our apps

Not attending? That’s okay. Stay tuned to this newsletter for updates on events and news coming up.

    ## Bushel: Exciting Updates Coming Soon

I'm happy to announce that the next version of Bushel is just around the corner, and it includes some valuable improvements based on your feedback.

    What's new:

      - **Enhanced Snapshot Functionality**: We've resolved several issues affecting snapshots, resulting in more reliable state persistence and improved overall performance. - **Convenient Menu Bar Item**: Access your most frequently used Bushel functions directly from your Mac's menu bar, streamlining your development workflow.

These updates stem from real-world usage and the thoughtful feedback many of you have shared. [Be sure to join our TestFlight to check out these latest updates.](https://getbushel.app)

      ## XTool: Build Apps on Linux

There's an interesting new tool from [Kabir Oberai called Xtool](https://forums.swift.org/t/xtool-cross-platform-xcode-replacement-build-ios-apps-on-linux-and-more/79803), which aims to be a cross-platform Xcode replacement that enables iOS app development on Linux.

This open-source project could potentially transform development workflows, especially for teams working across different operating systems or looking to enhance their CI/CD pipelines.
