Hoo-la are teeth ever annoying, eh? I hope before I need to get dentures I can just 3D print my own set of teeth with some sweet Fortnite skins on them.

Link Thought Things
When Apple originally launched the iPhone, they didn’t want to give developers a way to write apps for it. No App Store. No selling of apps. This one email explains how Apple’s leadership decided to change course. /via MacStories
Speaking of Apple, Apple Music’s new lossless audio & spatial audio features appear to be rolling out. I got to listen to the Will Smith Aladdin soundtrack this morning in lossless and it was life changing.
Good commercials are an art form unto themselves. Case in point: Coleman Sweeny, The World’s Biggest Asshole. Bonus points for paying Coldplay to license the perfect song for it. /via DaringFireball
Client and co-Chris, Chris Coyier, wrote up a 40 for 40 list of things he’s learned in his 40 years on this earth. Some is web dev focused, naturally, but lots of great nuggets in here. “2. Errrrybody got demons.”
Why are North Americans so bad at owning the past? Via Kottke’s post - Germany faced it’s past - can the USA do the same?. See also: Canada.
Who Are You, Charlie Brown?, a documentary on the life of Peanuts creator Charles M. Schulz, is going on my watch list.
I often enjoy watching analysis of sport more than the actual sport itself. Case in point: Nikola Jokic, Unlikely NBA MVP. /via Kottke.org
Let’s finish on a fun note - Play Date from Panic is a new video game “console” that’s coming later this year. There’s a mini-keynote explaining all the details, or this great commercial created by Sandwich.co.
Podcasting Thought Things
One of my fav podcasts done by a friend is The Goodstuff Morning Show - Apple Podcasts / Spotify - and Kyle and Kenny are publishing new episodes again. A fav game they play is listening to the audio from a Gordon Ramsay cooking session but removing all references to the actual ingredients he uses, and then they have to guess what he was cooking.
Picture of the Week
Lately I’ve been playing a lot of Mini Motorways on Apple Arcade. It’s a super chill game that’s fun to look at, and has a nice background soundtrack to go along with the sounds of your little cars bumping around the road. I even recorded a chill play through of the game on YouTube.
Here’s a photo of a recent game I played:
That’s it for this week!
