October & November Workshops: Consent, Care, Jealousy & More
Happy October, whether you’re coming into the first days of Spring or Fall in your part of the world! May you find the balance you seek and the connections you desire!
Speaking of balance, it's been a while since I sent this newsletter out! I hope you'll forgive me for my less-than-stellar consistency.
I have some exciting upcoming online workshops for October and November. These sessions are designed for neurodivergent folks, kinksters, and anyone interested in thoughtful, consent-forward approaches to power, care, and desire.
As always, my workshops will be recorded & a link will be emailed to all ticket holders within 72 hours. Link will be active for 30 days. You don’t have to attend live to get access to the recording!
October workshops
Neurodivergent in the Dungeon: Tips & Tools for Neurodivergent Kinksters & Their Partners
October 7, 7:30PM - 9:30PM Eastern
From figuring out our desires to negotiating our play, neurodivergent identity and behaviour impacts so many aspects of kinky play and connection. Through guided prompts and real-life examples, participants will learn how to expand their kink horizons while prioritizing consent and comfort and neurodivergent-affirming communication.
This workshop will not treat neurodivergence as a problem to solve and will seek to validate the experiences of all neurodivergent folks, regardless of whether they have a formal diagnosis.
Collaborative Consent: Pursuing Pleasure While Reducing Risk
October 21, 7:30PM - 9:30PM Eastern
Good sex and play result from connection and communication. But how do we share our desires and create consent with our partners while keeping it sexy? How do we push past the awkward and have fun while negotiating? In this class, Dare will guide students through a collaborative approach to consent that emphasizes mutual connection and responsibility for consent in a scene.
November workshops
Navigating Jealousy & Envy
November 4, 7:30PM - 9:30PM Eastern
In this workshop, we will discuss why we get jealous and envious, and the impact these feelings can have on our relationship with self and others. Seeking to understand our personal signs and causes of these feelings, we will develop an understanding of how to effectively communicate our needs and build healthier adaptations and coping mechanisms. We’ll talk about why jealousy and envy are important emotional signals and how they don’t have to always be a source of anxiety or a red-flag in our important relationships.
Care When There Is No "After": Ongoing Care for Persistent Power Dynamics
November 18, 7:30PM - 9:30PM Eastern
For dynamics that extend beyond the scene or the weekend, this session focuses on sustainable care practices for long-term power exchange. We'll discuss aftercare that isn't just "after," and how to nurture resilience in ongoing D/s and other persistent dynamics.
Until Next Time!
