The shift in how we move
Hello friends,
There are moments lately where I notice how easy it is to lose the thread of myself. Not dramatically. Not all at once. But in small ways… moving too quickly, responding before I’ve fully arrived, shaping something before I’ve actually felt it.
And I’ve been wondering what it would look like to move differently. To enter moments more fully. To stay in relationship with what’s here. And to leave without abandoning something essential in myself.
This noticing has been meeting me in different ways lately. I’m placing a few of them here.
When Care Has Nowhere to Land
There’s a kind of exhaustion that doesn’t come from doing too much…but from caring deeply in places that can’t receive what you’re giving.
Staying With What Is Still Forming
Have you ever noticed how quickly something meaningful can turn into something to “get through”?
What Is Quietly Reshaping Us?
There are moments when something is forming between us… that no single perspective can fully see.
There’s nothing you need to do with any of this. Just notice what, if anything, stays with you. And if something does… you might let it remain a little longer, without rushing to resolve it.
Follow what draws you. Leave the rest.
In quiet kinship,
Laureen
