Orient. Shift. Thrive.
Hello friends,
Lately, I’ve been thinking about how disoriented the times we are living in can cause us to feel. This spinning sensation, I’ve come to believe, is not a sign we’re failing. Rather it’s signal ~ that the ground itself is moving.
The level of change happening now isn’t like “another turn of the wheel.” It’s more like a threshold in how we think, relate, and make meaning ~ a paradigm shift unfolding in real time.
So how do we stay upright as the rules of the game we were taught to play no longer hold? The pattern that’s been helping me is simple: Orient regularly. Shift courageously. And find pods of people with whom you can learn to thrive with ~ together.
So applying this practice to the shape of this note:
ORIENT
Making sense of where we are
A Time of Transition

We are living between worlds ~ shaped by maps that no longer fully guide us, sensing something new that isn’t yet fully formed. This piece explores the thresholds we’re crossing and the disorientation that often accompanies real change.
If you’ve felt the tension of standing in two realities at once, this may offer language for the terrain.
SHIFT
Changing the pattern, not just the reaction

It’s one thing to recognize that the world is shifting. It’s another to notice the roles we unconsciously play inside that shift.
This conversation explores how we move from reactive dynamics into creator-based engagement ~ and why inner leadership is foundational to systemic change.
THRIVE
Practicing together
Practicing Antifragility Together: An Experiment in Conversations as Sensing Organs

Insight rarely metabolizes in isolation.
This piece introduces a new experiment within the Transformative Social Systems field: small, disciplined gatherings designed to increase our collective capacity to reorganize through disruption in ways that deepen coherence rather than fragment.
If you’re curious about why these “field sensing” conversations are forming ~ and how they function as micro-ecologies for digesting together ~ this offers the architecture behind the invitation.
💌 Until next time
Thank you for engaging this space not just as content, but as practice.
May we orient clearly, shift courageously, and learn how to thrive ~ not alone, but together.
In quiet kinship,
Laureen
