Latinx Podcast interview with Chris Robinson

This one is for the inside baseball players!

Werewolf Frankenstein cover art by Noah Bailey.

I have always been aware of Chris Robinson’s work. He was one of the most progressive editors at Marvel who inspired real change. Marvel Voices was something I desperately wanted to be a part of because the big two (Marvel & DC) only want to work with BIPOC when it’s a certain month and only once a year. But he has since moved on and become a writer and Eisner award winner for his incredible book All Negro Comics. But now he has a new series on Kickstarter that I hope you can support: Bride of Werewolf Frankenstein #1.

We get into the nitty-gritty of running a Kickstarter now and how social media is no longer a trusted source to get eyeballs on your project. How do you get eyeballs? How do you start a Kickstarter when the direct market and crowdfunding spaces are super crowded? I guess you’re going to have to listen to our conversation to find out, aren’t you? But you should totally click here to support his project when you’re done listening to our convo!

Thanks for everyone listening, and I look forward to doing more of these interviews in 2024!

P.S. Don’t forget to read today’s Gil Thorp! YEET!
