I'll be at Revenge Of's CCBP & Silver Lake Comics on Saturday, Nov. 8th!
Death to Pachuco #3 FOC! Two cons in one day! NYCC photo album!
November has been a busy month for me for the last 15 years. Tucson Comic Con used to be on the first weekend of the month. I would rush to have something new for my artist alley table. I now realize that I was just preparing myself for the rest of my life, looking back with rose-tinted glasses. The months, weeks, days, and hours lead up to me promoting my new indie comic that I wouldn’t shut up about.
Some things never change.
Death to Pachuco #3 Final Order Cut-Off

The deadline to preorder the third issue of Death to Pachuco is this Monday. There are two amazing covers. The gorgeous above by Tula Lotay and a kinetic variant by my friend Tony Parker. We sent the files to the printer, and I think it’s the best issue yet. Click here to find a comic shop near you and make sure you get a nice 9.8 copy for your short and or long box.
Many of you have been asking me, “how can I buy this from you directly?” Now you can. I have included the first issue on my webstore and all the variants in one very cheap package. My only warning is shipping will not be a quick turnaround because of the busy month I am having—and I’m working hard on shipping Kickstarter rewards. I have sent 91 rewards! I have 100+ more to go.
Scroll down for a proper preview of Death to Pachuco #2 which should be on spinner racks November 12th!
Here’s where you can catch me this Saturday, Nov. 8th:
Comic Creator Block Party 2025 @ Revenge Of
Jordan Blum and Patton Oswald have been co-organizing this amazing one-day event at the hottest comic bookshop in Los Angeles: Revenge Of. I am one of the lucky local creators that will be signing from 11 a.m. to noon. I’m not even going to attempt to name my friends that will be there by the off chance someone sees this and gets offended I didn’t list them. Click here for all the details. There are so many awesome creators coming!
Silver Lake Comics @ El Cid

I have had the pleasure of getting to know Sam Grinberg and Olivia Pecini through the National Cartoonist Society over the last year. They’re lovely people and I have nothing but great things to say about them. Sam was kind enough to invite me to his annual Silver Lake Comics fair at one of LA’s coolest clubs, El Cid. You can catch a glimpse of the venue on the new HBO MAX show: I love L.A. Yes, I saw the first episode and I enjoyed it. Anyway, I will be hauling ass from Eagle Rock to Sunset Blvd to make sure I’m to look pretty for you at The Cid from 5 to 9 p.m. Don’t be late (, Hank)!
UPCOMING SHOWS:
Thought Bubble Festival UK (November 15-16th)

Comic Arts Los Angeles (December 13-14th)

Honorary Mentions: Kit Mills & Black and Indigenous Comics Studies Colloquium
Kit drew Gil Thorp while Rachel was getting married, drawing DTP, and tabling NYCC. He did a bang up job, if I do say so myself. Follow him on Insta.

I will be out of the country while this happening, but everyone’s invited to the Black and Indigenous Comics Studies Colloquium at UC Irvine on Friday, November 14th. Go to the live event or stream from your home! Click here for more details!

New York Comic-Con 2025 Kodak Moments
I hate sharing photos of me and my friends because companies like Meta use everything for their AI training. So, I will keep posting stuff here where I have some control of how it’s being used.
