Henry is going to the LA Times Festival of Books
Henry goes to LAT FOB, Last Bookstore SC, and a buttload of other places. Keep up!
FYI: I’ll be at Silver Lake Shorts tonight!
Good news: I got an invite to the the Drawn to Life: A Conversation on Graphic Novels panel and signing at the LA Times Festival of Books. It’s taking place at the Albert and Dana Broccoli Theatre 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 18th. I will join Eagle Valiant Brosi, Anders Brekhus Nilsen, Mimi Pond, and moderator Angie Wang. Mysterious Galaxy Books will have copies of everyone’s work to purchase and we will be signing afterwards.

This is a big deal for me.
I have called Los Angeles home for the last 11 years. I never wanted to leave Tucson, but something had to change. It wasn’t long until I found out that LA is just as small as anywhere. People are connected in mysterious ways. The first time I got connected with a pot dealer (yes, back when it was illegal and might be again) was where Oliver Stone shot the Brad Pitt getting stoned scene in True Romance. A story for another time, but, the point is at any given moment you’re literally six degrees of Kevin Bacon. The people make this place worth a damn. If it weren’t for the friends and professionals in the comic book business that help one another, I wouldn’t be going to LATFOB.
I hope you can make it.

Latinx Press Podcast: SHOWDOWN with Dave Wielgosz
New episode of my podcast with my friend Dave Wielgosz. He is one of the few editors out there that respect me as a writer and creator. His first creator owned series, SHOWDOWN, is debuting next month with Ignition Press. If you like action and pop-punk, this is the comic for you. You all should pre-order it today.
