PROLOGUE
Hi everyone! In lieu of my usual intro, here’s a poem (from last year) to celebrate the coming of spring.
4.1.22
red maple branches foam with flowers,
filigree and fertile.
the shoreline extends its antennae.
figures of plaster and styrofoam pace the riparian margin,
dripping trails of pollen and rust.
the sun is bright and warm on skeletal woodland.
ripples populate the regions between pathways,
interpolating melodies into riotous swells of noise.
an insect chorus passes unseen.
planetoids orbit through a vivid darkness,
riddled with boreholes and beetle galleries.
plumes of radio cross the void.
