Actualités de la ferme - News from the Farm
Les radis sont prĂȘts ! Nous n'en avons plantĂ© que quelques-uns cette annĂ©e, alors profitez-en tant qu'il en reste. Les haricots verts semblent bientĂŽt arrivĂ©s Ă la fin, peut-ĂȘtre dans une semaine. (Nous avons rĂ©duit leur prix pour reflĂ©ter la fin de la saison.) Malheureusement, nos laitues ont montĂ© en graines Ă cause de la chaleur et les plus jeunes ne seront pas prĂȘtes avant deux semaines. Le cĂŽtĂ© positif, c'est que nous avons beaucoup de tomates rondes Ă trancher et des tomates cerises, et que les poules pondent bien.
Radishes are ready! We only planted a few this year, so get them while you can. The green beans look like they will be finished soon, maybe in a week. (We have reduced their price to reflect the end-of-the-season beans.) And, unfortunately, our lettuce bolted in the hot weather and the younger lettuces wonât be ready for another two weeks. On the plus side, we have a plenty of round slicing tomatoes and cherry tomatoes and the chickens are laying well.
