Membership & Support

Making these newsletters, and doing the podcasts I do, takes a lot of time and energy. It also costs me some money (not a fortune or anything, but enough that I do notice it).

I give away all the stuff I produce for free, nothing is behind a paywall. However, one of the things that has lead to gaps in the content I produce is because I often have to concentrate on other parts of my life that pay the bills.

This Re-Boot will not change the fact that everything I make will still be free for anyone who wants to consume it. But at some point in the future I'm going to try something new: supporting my work with a membership. This is my attempt to copy how Craig Mod and NPR works. Anyone can get the content, doing so will cost them nothing. If someone wants to support the continued existence and production of the content they can do so by becoming a membership.

A note about production & release of content

The number of people who support the work I do will not determine the stuff I make, but it will have an influence on how often I'm able to produce.

(One day I may do a members only sort of thing, but until I have members I'm not going to spend too much time thinking about that.)
