world's first kvs newsletter
hello!
not only am I new at this, but I'm also desperately out of practice in the realm of self-promotion. that said, i'm doing a solo tour in the USA starting next week and figured that might be the kind of thing I could use to kick off this newsletter, which shall continue and become infamous for its insights and delights.
these shows are solo. one small voice in my head that says "travesty!" is being refuted by a larger voice shrieking "opportunity!" i haven't gone around playing solo since 2014, and it might be nice to think about the songs from a different angle. during the pandemic i became obsessed with ichiko aoba's music. here's a solo performance of hers i keep going back to.
a couple things before i leave you with the dates: if you have any requests for the solo set, please reply with them! also, i promise i have a new album finished, titled and ready to go. i'll be playing several songs from it on the tour.
